Mäkelä Alu Oy Oy is a private family business with more than 70 years of traditions and expertise in the post-processing of metals and metal products. The manufacturing of aluminium extrusions began in 1990 in a modern extrusion plant; the production line, completed in the summer of 1999, has since doubled our capacity. The raw material used in production is billets manufactured from primary aluminium. The alloys used in production are recyclable. The reprocessing of scrap into billets is performed in our own foundry, which was completed in 1996. Raw materials, modern production equipment and a trained personnel guarantee the high quality of our products. Our production program includes both customer and standard profiles and profile systems. The CAD design of customer profiles involves close co-operation with continuous attention to our customers' needs.
